Real-life Successful Adoption Stories

A dog that went from foster to adoption

Freequently Ask Question

Yes! Because of their traumatic pasts, rescue dogs in particular may be more vulnerable to separation anxiety. Dogs with separation anxiety are inclined to severe distress when left alone, which is a behavioral condition.

While some dogs will always be uncomfortable and uneasy in the start, others will gain confidence and, with their family's help, adjust to a new home environment. When you are working with a dog who exhibits scared behaviors, treating them with extra love and care can be super helpful.

Dogs at shelters experience a variety of stressful environmental changes, such as strange locations, unusual and loud noises (such as barking), little social interaction, daily schedules, and strange people.

If your dog is getting a lot of sleep, makes relaxed and soft eye contact, has good behaviors on walks, and has a good appetite with wagging tales and floppy ears then you should know that these are the signs of a happy dog.

If your pet’s appetite has decreased by weight loss, has bad breath and foul smell coming from the body, gets excessively thirsty, and becomes aggressive are all potential problems in the pet. If you notice any of these signs, then contact your veterinarian immediately.
